| Researcher Prof. Jiandong WuShanghai Jiao Tong University, China Jiandong Wu (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2012.,From 2010 to 2011, he was an Assistant Researcher at Tanaka’s Laboratory, IPS Center, Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. From 2015 to 2016, he carried out collaborative research at the University of Southampton, Southampton, U.K. Currently, he is with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as an Associate Professor. His research interests include space charge detecting and simulation technologies for electrical insulation. |
| Prof. Wenfu WeiSouthwest Jiaotong University, China Professor Wenfu Wei is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Southwest Jiaotong University. He is a recipient of the National Excellent Youth Science Fund, a young scientist under the National Key R&D Program, and has been listed among the top 2% of global leading scientists. He serves as the chair of the IEEE Standards Working Group and co-chair of the AEES 2025 conference. His research focuses on the forefront interdisciplinary areas of new-type power system high-voltage electrical equipment, electrical contacts and plasma, advanced electrical materials, laser nondestructive testing, and artificial intelligence. He has published four academic monographs in both Chinese and English and authored over 150 academic papers. Four of his papers have been selected as ESI hot papers (top 0.1% globally) and highly cited papers (top 1% globally), including three cover papers, as well as receiving recognitions such as the HighVoltage annual outstanding paper and IEEE Transactions on Power Systems highlighted papers. He has been awarded the National Railway Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award and three first-class provincial and ministerial-level awards from the Ministry of Education and others. Professor Wei serves as chair of an international standards working group and is a committee member of domestic and international academic organizations including IEEE CEIDP. He is also an editorial board member of Chinese core journals and SCI journals and an expert in the China State Railway Group expert database. He has contributed to the development of five international/national standards and received an award for his contributions to standard formulation. Three of his academic achievements have been included in the China Railway Administration’s major scientific and technological innovation achievements repository. |
| Prof. Jia CuiShenyang University of Technology, China Jia Cui is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Shenyang University of Technology, as well as the deputy director of the Department of New Energy Science and Engineering. His main research areas include interdisciplinary studies such as the energy internet, clean energy consumption in new power systems, electricity markets, and big data in power systems. He serves as the vice chair of the Digital and Intelligent Subcommittee of the IEEE PES Transformer Committee, a member of the Renewable Energy Generation Grid Connection Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, a member of the Youth Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, a member of the Energy Storage Technology Committee of the IEEE Power and Energy Society in China, and a member of the Technical Committee of the Liaoning Province Smart Grid Cloud Computing Professional Technology Innovation Center. He has long served as an editorial board member and review expert for top-tier international and domestic academic journals, including *Applied Energy*, *IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid*, *Journal of Chinese Electrotechnics*, *Journal of Electric Power Technology*, *Automation of Electric Power Systems*, and *Power System Technology*. He has hosted and participated in more than 30 projects, including those from the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and science and technology projects from the State Grid Corporation of China. He has published over 30 research papers in top-tier journals listed in the SCI (Chinese Academy of Sciences). He has been granted over 30 authorized invention patents, as well as 2 software copyrights, and has authored 3 monographs. |
